RACECEIVERS MANDATORY FOR ALL EVENTS

The BRP/Hoosier Tire Modified Tour joins the growing list of sanctioning bodies and speedways that will require the RaceCeiver one-way radio communication system for all of its events.

“The RaceCeiver system has proven itself to be beneficial to the racers,” said Race Director Bill Bauer. “It allows for communications regarding dangerous conditions on the track or problems with the cars and it facilitates alignment of the cars whenever a caution occurs,” he explained. “This should improve the quality of the program for our fans and promoters as well, he added.

“Three of the speedways participating in the BRP/Hoosier Tire Modified Tour have used the RaceCeiver system for several seasons, so most of our racers are familiar with the technology and already have it available to them,” added Modified Tour President Lou Long. “We have simply expanded the scope to all of our races.”

The Modified Tour has acquired the necessary equipment to operate the RaceCeiver system at those tracks on the Tour that do not currently use it.

A limited number of RaceCeiver units will be available for purchase or lease at all Modified Tour events.
