MODIFIED TOUR TO SANCTION EMIG MEMORIAL PRESENTED BY ROCK CONCRETE

Officials of the BRP/Hoosier Tire Modified Tour and Mercer Raceway Park are pleased to announce that the 2010 Bill Emig Memorial will carry the Modified Tour sanction once again. “We are pleased to return to the Park for this event,” said Modified Tour President Lou Long. “Our competitors really impressed the new track owner, Bill Altman, when we raced there a few weeks ago.” Jeremiah Shingledecker passed Rex King, Sr. on the last lap to win that race before one of the largest crowds assembled at the historic track. Talks about a return engagement started almost immediately after the checkered flag fell, but the final piece to the puzzle came into place with the addition of the Modified Tour’s new marketing partner, Rock Concrete, of Monaca, PA.

The Bill Emig Memorial presented by Rock Concrete will be held on Saturday, August 14.
